The only people who are upset about the Jewish dating options, 2012 are the parents of single Jewish children. It’s traditional within Jewish families for the elders to take an active role in finding an ideal partner for their kids. Apparently this has worked very well over the years, but as the new generations mature, they young unattached kids have a different idea.

Young Jewish singles love to a read horoscope love test, and the girls in particular like to take those silly love quiz tests found in glossy magazines to see who their Mr Right, or indeed Mr Wrong, might be. In other words, young Jewish singles are behaving more like the youngsters of other faiths, or no faiths at all, and it is this independent streak that is worrying the older folks.

Surely though, at the end of the day, love, true love, has to be discovered by the individuals and not the outsiders? The debate continues!
